Benjamin is busy leaning LOTS of new tricks and pushing new limits everyday! He can pull himself up when he wants to, but doesn't go anywhere just yet. I mentioned before he keeps doing this cute little yoga pose...I finally snapped a picture. I think I have decided he is trying to stand up, but just doesn't quite have the coordination just yet. He will walk his hands close to his feet before falling over!
And CRAWLING...this little boy started out slow, but he is a mover and shaker now! Today, while I was making his "10 Month" sign for our photo shoot, I put him down in the middle of his room. Then walked to the next room to use the markers and make the sign. He was crying for a moment - then quiet...then I heard his little grunting getting closer. I finished up real quick and walked back to his room to find him peeking out the doorway! And then later tonight, I left him in the living room to go to the kitchen to make his bottle...sure enough here he came...crawling to the kitchen to find out what was going on! Time to REALLY baby proof now! If you didn't catch the video clip...here it is! My favorite part is when he hesitates and looks at me like "Are you really going to let me do this?" And then he smiles and goes for it before I change my mind! :) That smile melts my heart!

Another new trick is that Ben is learning to wave Bye-Bye. He more just kind of raises one arm - almost saluting instead of waving, but he's getting the hang of it! :) And he "talks" all the time! He must get that from his daddy, because we all know mommy hates talking! LOL!

And teeth...let's talk about teeth...or lack there of! Those two bottom teeth are RIGHT THERE...but they just refuse to come through! Poor guy...hopefully soon I will be posting about the magical appearance of those little teeth!
Food - as I have mentioned before we have a foodie on our hands! I can't even list all of the things this little boy eats...but if it's edible he will eat it! :) We are so lucky to have a good sleeper and a good eater!
Also this month, Benjamin went back to daycare with Ms. Erica after being home with us for more than a month! He was so excited to play with his buddies Jameson and Rhys and is learning lots of new things from them! :) We've tried the sippy cup a few times and Ben just doesn't get it...or didn't ...until now! The other day he was trying to steal the boys' sippy cups, so I tonight while I was doing dishes, I figured I would try again. And this little guy went right for the cup, picked it up and put that straw in his mouth and started sipping! I checked to see where the water level was and then where it was when he was done, and he didn't drink much, but he drank some! :) I am so proud! :) And of course, I got some pictures!

And now for the 10 month pictures! These are getting harder and harder to get...especially with the sign... so here are some of the good ones!

Then he got really excited and started giggling and clapping!
Then he threw his hands in his lap he was so excited...I love this little shrug look!
And then we tried the sign one more time and got the serious look! :)
As always we are loving our little boy and enjoying all the new milestones. (Oh yeah, and if we hold his hands he will take a few steps...they are still pretty rigid, but this is an improvement over not moving his legs at all when standing up!) We are also enjoying taking him on all sorts of fun adventures and play dates! He is such a happy little guy and is so great everywhere we go!
Sidenote: Only THREE more months until Benjamin's baby sister arrives! YIKES! :) June will be a big "get ready for baby#2" month!
