3d Ultrasound Of Our Baby Girl

As a mother's day gift, Eric, Ben, and I went to get a 3d ultrasound of our little girl. We only did 15 minutes this time instead of the 30 we did with Ben. It is amazing how much she is like Benjamin already! I hope she has his sweet demeanor and great sleeping and eating habits, too!!! ;) She is in the same position that Ben was when we had his ultrasound and the position he seemingly stayed in (another good reason to opt for that repeat c-section!). She was folded in half with her feet by her face and her hands were up there too! I guess my babies just like being folded in half! This position made it a little difficult to get a really good shot of her face, even though she had the perfect profile position - those arms and legs were in the way! And of course, just like Ben did in the womb...she is a sleepy girl during the day and a crazy girl at night! So not much moving, despite trying to shake my belly and move around.

Anyway, here are some photos of our little girl (who is still, really and truly a girl!) and a few of Ben for comparison!

Baby Girl - head is on the left, then arm up with a bit of hand at the top, and those crossed legs with toes at the top. (Don't worry, her bones aren't being eaten away and she doesn't have a giant spot on her head, it's just part of the ultrasound editing!)

Baby Girl - Legs Crossed (feet to the left)
 Benjamin's legs crossed

Baby Girl - Mouth Open...you can see her tongue too!
Baby Girl - toes touching her forehead and an elbow in the bottom left touching her leg
Baby Girl - toes by head, hand by her ear, and you can see her eyes, nose, and a little bit of her lips
Benjamin with his face, leg, and hand all in the photo

Baby girl - hand by her eye (you can see her fingers), nose and lips
Baby Girl - another face shot as arms and legs are kind of erased so you can see her little nose and lips

In a little less than 12 weeks we will be meeting our little girl. Can't believe how quickly time seems to be going this time around! I need to get started on that nursery! )
